I would have listed this under architectual but to me there was more to this picture when I took it. What caught my eye is how bright the Empire State building was and yet the cars on the streets had already began to use thier headlights. However the sun had not yet set and was illuminating these tall structures momentarily.

I really like this image.. Tis very well balanced and shows much of the world we have created around ourselves.. the lives that we live in a society that values 'order' and 'system' over life.. *Sigh*

Good job framing the photo with the buildings on the sides . . . it gives it a sort of canyon look.

i think the whole country is in shock and disgust really, i mean, i live 400 miles away from where it happens but noone can really believe it, we were always expetcing it but now its happened it seems so surreal, so far 49 ded and theres people buried stil its really awful :(

I like the Shot a lot, because it Shows the Building, but as u say also the City Life, and the Proportions are really Well, leting the Buildingd be the Main Star of the Shot and yet be gratefully influenced by what is going on the Streets! , Top.
